This is a very exclusive setting, ideal for an elegant ceremony with a large number of guests.
The church was built by the Benedictine Friars on the remains of a Roman church dating back to a period before the year 1000. It was enlarged in the Romanic age ( 12th century) and completely modified at the beginning of the 15th century. In 1809 it was deconsecrated and used as a city warehouse, with reconstruction works that completely changed its original shape. The building was opened again in October 2000 after a long renovation work, which brought it back to its original aspect. and it is now the seat of contemporary art exhibitions and music concerts.
The façade has a charming portico decorated by Roman style geometric motifs. The interior is very simple but warm and elegant.
The acoustic is great. We suggest you a string quartet... it is so sopisticated a setting!!
