Charming 17th Century Villa

This impressive Villa was built in 1671 and was restored in 1991 to be converted into a luxury residence, while the farm-houses on the estate renewed into comfortable and elegant country houses. It retains an air of ancient nobility and has been transformed with careful restoration. Typical Tuscan colours of yellow and grey adorn the outside of the villa whilst the interior continues this elegant and sunny colour scheme enhanced by carefully selected furniture and richly coloured fabrics.

The large lounge and separate dining room combine effortlessly comfort and style, the high ceilings adding to the sense of grandeur. Garden terraces surround the villa, on the lower terraces one finds the secluded swimming pool, set amidst lush green lawns with ample loungers and umbrellas.

Next to the villa stands the chapel of San Giovanni, built around 1730, and near it another lower building whose interior spaces are used for farming activities. At the end of this structure begin the stables, the rear part of which acts as the boundary wall and is visible from the garden.

The "Romantic Park" that spreads out in front of the villa was designed by Agostino Fantastici in around 1833. ‘Parco Romantico’ was conceived as “place of relish”; it is rich of rare trees and exotic plants, little canals, fountains,

statues and a temple. As it was in the past you could decide to celebrate your ceremonies or organize your reception by the picturesque lake,

the small harbour and the boat house.
