This enchanting hotel lies high on a hill with a splendid view of the towers of San Gimignano, immersed in a park of centuries-old cypresses: a perfect scenary for your unforgettable wedding.
It was commissioned by San Gimignano's citizens in 1587 and originally hosted a Franciscan convent, The driveway leads to a beautiful Italian-style garden opposite the ancient building, whose warm, sober tones of pietra serena blend in perfectly with the shapes and proportions of Tuscan Renaissance architecture.
The furnishings, enveloped in the golden tones of tapestries and frescoes, create settings evoking Sienese Renaissance palaces.
Overlooking the cloister on the upper floor are some of the bedrooms, all air-conditioned and with private, direct-dial phones, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe and bath with hydro-massage.
For your wedding reception you have different option;
in the evoking area that was once the convent's church there is the restaurant seating a hundred people; small banquets can be also held in private rooms with fireplaces. In warm months you can also consider outdoors: under the "Portico", in the "Pagoda" or by the Pool, in an area surrounded by garden greenery.
