Lake Orta (Lago D'Orta) is located in the lake district of Italy about 45 minutes from the city of Milan. There are few places more romantic or beautiful than the lakes of northern Italy. With the Alps as a backdrop and shorelines dotted with charming towns and villas set in luxuriant gardens, it is no wonder that artists and conquerors have been attracted to the area. Orta is one of the smaller and quieter lakes but has a lovely charm that we hope you will love as much as we do.
