A wedding in Porto Venere is a magic experience, especially if held at the magic castle!
Porto Venere has a long story of corsairs and sailors, of sieges and local traditions going back to ancient Rome which has imbued its castle, its walls, its churches and its little narrow streets.
The castle stands proudly in a superb strategic viewpoint high above the waves, the romantic gulf and the scenic Church. It can be reached only by a flight of steps and once you are at the castle you will be suspended between the sea and the sky.
Civil ceremonies are held by the Mayor of his delegate on the scenic terrace or in the intimate marriage room (max 40 persons).
Religious blessings and symbolic weddings are also possible.
At the end of the ceremony a memorable reception can be organized in the beautiful amphitheatre.
This is one of the most scenic places to get married.
