Wonderful panoramic views are a particular feature of this first Class hotel especially from the restaurants and the terraces.
The hotel was built in 1222 as a Convent and it still retains the old charm and an original cloister by Saint Francis which borders a quiet flower-filled courtyard providing the perfect setting for a cocktail.
The restaurants boast an excellent chef who produces unusual dishes and fish specialities. Cuisine is at the top.
Across the road and down a flight of steps at the bottom of an ancient Saracen Tower, is the hotel's swimming pool which perches on a ledge above the sea.
Attached to the hotel there is a lovely church built in 1222 where Catholic and Protestant ceremonies can be performed.
