Hi Marco,
yes we are back..... we are going away again in November but missing Italy
already and its not nice being back.....
The wedding day went so well.... and we are now back and sad to be here....
Anyway the weather was amazing, we were so lucky the day we got there it was
like summer began...So yes a beautiful day.
The violinist was excellent too and was there early and playing while the
guests came in - so I heard.
The ceremony was great and then we had appetizers and drinks in the gardens
which was lovely too...
We then walked through the town to the ferry on to the port and all the locals
were cheering us and clapping it was lots of fun...
Ferry ride was fun too and we sang and danced a bit which so great -
Everybody loved Portofino.
We came back had a break and went to the bar/restaurant we had booked -
when we got there Heme asked if he could get us a boat arrival and it worked
so our guests were waiting for us and there we were turning up on the speed
boat - the bar was on the sea so was so cool..
Then we had lots of food the best cake and everyone but us drank lots, so it went better than we
expected and all the guest fell in love with SLM. To top it all off at midnight
the most amazing thing happened..... there were fireworks going off.....maybe
they were from Rapallo.... but that made it as I love fireworks....
So yes an excellent day which feels like a dream....
