Lake Como Wedding

It was a sunny warm autumn day in Lake Como, last November when Paulina and Andrew got married in Cernobbio. It was an intimate and romantic wedding at the local marriage hall with only bride and groom attending.

Paulina dressed a simple, but stylish Dolce and Gabbana gown; the bouquet designed in warm autumn colors was realized by Figli dei Fiori, our flower designers in Lake Como. The couple accommodated at Villa D'Este the most exclusive hotel in Lake Como. The wonderful photos that you can admire in the photo gallery were shot by Luca, our top photographer in the area.

The photo services started at the hotel in the marvellous hall, the outdoor restaurant overlooking the lake and the breathtaking garden. Hotel Villa d'Este is a dramatic setting for a photo shooting; if you stay there do not miss this opportunity!

The wedding ceremony at Cernobbio town hall was very simple and touching like every wedding I joined and even the town hall officer was affected.
After the wedding Paulina and Andrew took a charming boat to enjoy the gentle breeze of the lake under the sun. In Lake Como you can rent the so-called Taxi Veneziano (Venetian taxi), an elegant wooden-made little lake boat. The Venetian taxi drive them up north towards Villa Balbianello: the most extraordinary villa in Lake Como.

Set of many Hollywood movies and tv commercials, Villa Balbianello is located on a little peninsula surrounded by a large park: a glamourous setting for fairy weddings and photo shooting. As you can see in the photo gallery even in November this unique location is a venue of great fascination.

When they left the villa in the afternoon, the November chilly temperatures were taking over, but it did not prevent them to enjoy the view of the lake and the romantic surroundings on the way back

An intimate tete-a-tete dinner at Villa D'Este was the seal of their wonderful Lake Como wedding.
