In the last 20 years the most glamorous vip receptions and gala dinner have always been celebrated in the fragrant atmosphere of this one-of-a-kind venue where also Rod Stewart and Wayne Rooney, to name a few, tied the knot.
The abbey is located a few miles from Portofino on a gentle hill overlooking the ocean and it is deepen in an unspoiled Mediterranean wood. Passing the gate of the Abbey is like entering an ancient time, a place of peace and safety that welcome you like an oasis: seven centuries of history will make you admire the sobriety and the equilibrium of the gardens, the perfect proportion of the monumental complex and the cloister.
For wedding reception most of the outdoor areas of the Abbey are used.
The guests are usually introduced in the lower part of the magnificent Cloister where bride and groom welcome them.
A cocktail aperitif is then served in the Italian garden on a amazing terrace overlooking the ocean and the Portofino bay; the scent of the flowers and the light breeze of the ocean will accompany you towards the sunset and the delicious Italian dinner that is served in a different terrace under the stars.
The first dance will start the music entertainment in the wisteria court and the party will last until late night in a gentle and relaxed atmosphere.
