Imagine a summer night in the gentle hills of Tuscany; all around you the sweep of the Chianti vineyards and olive groves. Looking at the rising moonlight you catch a glimpse of an unexpected vision: a small Medieval village that stands out against the sky with many tall towers, San Gimignano.
Your wedding reception at Villa Francigena, a charming Tuscan farmhouse in the hearth of Chianti, can make this vision come true. The hamlet, in fact, faces San Gimignano hill and the village is there, just in front of you.
Starting from 2009 dinner receptions are held on an amazing large terrace garden with a wide view against the towers of San Gimignano.
This charming hamlet is the ideal base for discover the wonders of Chianti: its rolling hills, the ancient villages that sprout from the green postcard landscape as painted by hand, the many wineries almost always open to public and not least the typical warm welcome of Tuscan people.
This venue is located near the Francigena path, the ancient road that brought the pilgrims from the Northern countries to Rome, and in fact the hamlet was originally a monastery and the 6 apartments have been made out of the ancient convent.
All apartments are restored, completely autonomous and can accommodate from 2 to 6 people. In particular:
