Located at the top of the hill this romantic villa has a balcony from which incomparable views of the lake can be enjoied.
Its garden, conceived and realized by a couple of newlyweds, has a very interesting and romantic history.
The Marquis Silvio Della Valle di Casanova and Sofia Browne, he a musician and poet, she an impassioned artist and painter, married in 1896 and crowned the common dream of their youth by transforming the old chalet built by her grandfather, Peter Browne, into an luxurious villa and successfully reshaping the park into what was to become the image and refuge of their sentiments.
Sentiments are the real protagonists of the park: the forms, the vegetation, the colours, and the scents, all become instruments of expression equal to the oils of Sofia's paintings and of Silvio's verses and musical notes.
Ceremonies are performed in the beautiful “music room” with stucco ceiling and frescoes on the walls. The wedding room is very elegant and sophisticated. A piano for music during your ceremony is at your disposal.
