Villa Cortona was built in 15th century and it has been recently transformed into an elegant country residence surrounded by a garden of 1 hectare, with a beautiful Italian garden and a private park of ancient oak and linden trees.
Located 2,5 miles from Cortona it is an ideal base for visit to Florence, Siena, Chianti Region as well as the beautiful Umbria region.
The Villa is furnished with antiques belonging to the family and the rooms are all different from one another, some have canopy beds, precious fabrics in the tones of greens, reds and yellows but all have beautiful views of the surrounding hills, fields which change colours with every season and the lus garden with pleasant scents all year round.
Lovely restaurant is available at the Villa. Perfect for small groups up to 40 guests, it offers dishes which are traditional of this region, based on local and genuine products. It is a feast to the palate culminating in the difficult choice of the great wine list.
