Near Ponsacco, about 30 minutes drive from Pisa, villa san Torpè is located in a large estate (508 hectares) of a noble Tuscan family. The property through the centuries belonged to the Florentine Medici family and from 1637 is owned by the current family.
In recent years some of the most beautiful farmhouses of the estate have been finely restored becoming genuine villas furnished with all comforts and rent to selected customers, mainly from abroad: Villa San Torpè is one of those residences.
At the top of an hill in a fenced garden with a pool Villa San Torpè has a beautiful view over the countryside and the castle villa where the noble family live.
The villa is structured on two floors:
Ground floor
The ground floor consists of a large living room with tv sat, a dining room, a large kitchen and a guest bathroom.
First floor
The first floor consists of a living room with fireplace, 3 double rooms with en-suite bathroom and 1 double room with twin bed and a not en-suite bathroom.
Outdoor the swimming pool measures 12x6 meters and it has a very nice view on the countryside. There are inviting outdoor places for dining and relaxing in the most peaceful Tuscan countryside.
Wedding reception are held either in the internal halls of the villa or under the marquee overlooking the pool. For Catholic wedding, a few steps from the villa a secluded avenue of cypress trees leads to the beautiful Church of San Frediano.
