Set in the romantic village of Bellagio, on a promontory which juts halfways out into the lake, separating the two branches of the lake.
It is surrounded by the luxurious vegetation of its Italian gardens with lawns, shrubs, trees, palms and flowers beds. Here you can sunbathe on the waterside terrace or doze under a willow tree or wander in a romantic promenade along the lake shore.
Built in 1850 for the past 100 years it has been one of the most famous and prestigious hotels in the world. Its sumptuous interiors are witnesses of a regal age made of splendour and magnificence and are finely preserved with marble, oil paintings, crystal chandeliers, frescoes and tall mirrors.
Rooms vary widely in decor, with stuccoed ceilings in some, walnut furnishings in others, and oil paintings on the walls.
