Outstanding Sorrento wedding reviews are always a big reward for a passionate wedding planner and the kind words of Ella and Nigel were the icing on the cake for an impeccable event (naturally the splendid beauty of Sorrento and the settings chosen for the civil ceremony and receptions were an important element too!).

Ella and Nigel celebrated their wedding at cloisters of San Francesco Sorrento, the most requested and suggestive civil wedding hall in Amalfi Coast.

Ella chosen a vintage wedding theme in antique gold, dusty pink and dusty purples. The enchanting wedding dress, designed by Charlotte Balbier perfectly created this atmosphere and it well matched the lilac Amnesia roses of her bouquet.

The evocative beauty of St. Francis Cloister is an ideal backdrop for a romantic photo shooting, so is Sorrento with its heavenly vision of the ocean, its colorful hills punctuated by historical villas, its picturesque pedestrian streets of Sorrento.

An exclusive wedding reception at Grand Hotel Capodimonte followed.
This exclusive hotel offers many outdoor and indoor options for an elegant wedding reception able to satisfy both intimate and large events.
Ella and Nigel set their delicious wedding dinner on the stunning outdoor terrace of the hotel which was reserved in exclusive use. At night the gentle breeze of the sea, the splendid panorama and the stars above were the ideal conclusion of a perfect Sorrento wedding day.

"Hi Marco,

We are both very well thank you.
We miss Italy a lot especially as the weather is so horrible at the moment in England. Thank you for your help with the marraige certificate - I look forward to recieving it.

With regards to our Sorrento wedding we were extemely happy with everything and the whole day surpassed our expectations. I cannot say enough nice things about Carmela, she was great and extremely helpful and a lovely person also, she interacted fabulously with our guests and was brilliant with the photographer - the day could not have happened without her. Please pass on my warmest thanks and regards.

The musicians were also excellent and stayed right up until we sat down to eat which was a little later than planned. The guests loved them and we were all singing with them. The flowers arrived early and were beautiful. They were matched the colour scheme exactly which again surpassed my expectations - I only wish I could have kept them. Alfonso was great, and he tried his best to make to very awkward people loosten up for photographs. The "be passionate" remark was very italian and I have to admit we found that a little difficult in front of camera but it made us laugh at least. So far I am really impressed with the photos and cant wait to see what they will look like once edited. Carmela was brillaint at organising the group photographs and also looking after the best men to make sure they did what they needed - it wouldnt have been anywhere near as smooth without her.

Hotel Capodimonte wedding reception was also very good although we did have a superior room and I believe some of the other standard rooms are quiet small. It is an expensive hotel but I have to say I did not find one in Sorrento that was less expensive. The staff were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. The reception food and service was excellent; I would recommend it to anyone especially for a wedding although you have to be prepared for it to be expensive.

We hope to visit Sorrento many times in the future and would love to come back next year for our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience and I only wish I could do it all again - I wouldnt change anything.

Thank you.

Ella and Nigel"
