Malcesine weddings are celebrated in this enchanting castle overlooking the lake. The roots of this case lie in the ancient reign of the Longobard in 580AD. In 13th century Scala family, lords of medieval Verona, reconstructed the castle and turned it into a defending fortress to protect their properties. It is built in very characteristic Scaligeri style, like most of the castles spread around Verona.
Located on the top of a hill it boasts a simply breathtaking view over the blue of the lake and the old Malcesine. In bright and clear days, from the top of the castle, you can enjoy all of northern part of Lake Garda.
Civil weddings can be performed in two rooms inside the castle or outside on one of the turrets. The first room is intimate and romantic room on the edge of the castle with stunning views over the lake. It can hold up to 15 people.
The second room is in the tower and it is made of simple, white stone. It can hold about 60 people, 30 seating and about 30 standing.
