Weddings in Venice allow to enjoy one of the most famous
Marriage Halls in the world: an elegant 16th century Renaissance
Palace overlooking the Grand Canal!
Interiors are in the typical 18th century Venetian style, with original paintings,
furniture and ceramics.
The Wedding room is full of light, with large windows overlooking the
Grand Canal taking up one whole wall and providing a definitely privileged
panorama. After the ceremony you can take photo on the
balcony overlooking the lagoons: Grand Canal and Ponte di Rialto will be a
magic backdrop!
Did you know that.
Palazzo Cavalli is not the only marriage hall available for Civil weddings in
Venice. Venice municipality opened three other majestic halls in superb
historical palaces:
- Sala Degli Stucchi at Ca' Farsetti, a XIII Century Palace facing Grand Canal
near Rialto bridge.
- Venice Council Hall at Ca' Loredan, a XIII Century Palace facing Grand Canal
since 1868 seat of Venice town hall.
- Sala Cuoi d'Oro at Ca' Vendramin Calergi, a stately Renaissance Palace
facing Grand Canal that is also home to the Venice Casino and the Wagner
Museum.
RJ Suggestion.
The most thrilling way to reach or leave Palazzo Cavalli is by gondola;
after the marriage you could take a ride towards St. Mark square on board
of one of this magic boat (maybe a fine decorated wedding gondola)
accompanied by the delicate lapping of the water and by the magnificence
of the façades of the palazzi which provide the ideal backdrop for a fairy-tale
Wedding in Venice.
