Ravello Town Hall Wedding

Civil ceremonies are celebrated in the Belvedere Principessa di Piemonte, an example of admirable charm that continues to fascinate not only for its beauty but also for the history it holds. Walking along Via San Giovanni, not far from the luxurious Hotel Caruso and Palazzo Avino, you will come across an entrance made up of arches framed by vines. It is the entrance to the garden which takes its name from a real princess, Marie José of Belgium who married Umberto, the crown prince of the Kingdom of Italy.

The small grassy garden is shaded by beautiful trees and full of impeccable flower beds: the ideal place for getting married in Ravello. The view overlooks the ocean and allows you to see Minori and Maiori in the distance. For the beauty of this corner of paradise, it was chosen, in 1953, as the location of a scene from the movie "Beat the Devil" with Humphrey Bogart and Gina Lollobrigida.

The heat of the summer can be uncomfortable in Amalfi Coast and, even if we could rent big umbrellas to cover the garden, we recommend to avoid the hottest hours.

In case of bad weather, ceremonies are performed in the charming Town Hall, a simple but elegant building designed in 1200. It has a small garden, full of flowers and trees where you can enjoy the fragrance of the Mediterranean nature and...take some beautiful pictures after the ceremony!

Services are performed in a charming indoor hall with white marble decorations and old furniture.

In 2021 the following schedule and costs apply to civil ceremonies:

  • From Monday to Thursday: € 650.000
  • From Friday to Sunday: € 850.00
