The hotel was built  in 1870 in the idiom of Belle Epoque and designed to do justice to that mesmering panorama. Favourite among heads of state, artists, musicians  was in 1930 acclaimed one of the most beautiful hotel in Europes. In 2003 a radical renovation has returned this jewel to its position as one of Europe’s most luxurious properties.

Standing proudly on a promontory, this elegant wedding hotel commands spectacular views of Lake Maggiore, the surrounding mountains and the Borromee Islands. Almost  every room, every terrace and balcony, the American bar, the restaurant, the pool and the perfect English garden gets a view of the blue water.

This splendid venue is not authorized for the celebration of a civil wedding. Symbolic or Religious blessing can be celebrated in the impeccable lawn facing the lake followed by a relaxed cocktail in the outdoor terrace with a view.

Wedding banquets and parties are usually arranged in the hotel ballroom. Hotel's restaurant offers an innovative Italian cuisine; a perfect blend of traditional recipes and novel flavors!
